OK, let's get away from melody and tonality for a couple of minutes. This is an improvised electric guitar solo for which I wove various metal objects into the strings and struck them with a chopstick (hence the title). I've always been fascinated with making the guitar NOT sound like a guitar and that fascination manifests itself in much of my music, melodic/tonal and otherwise.
Equipment: G&L F-100 electric guitar, various metal and wooden objects found around the house. Recorded directly onto an iMac G3 computer (Sound Studio software).
